Ah… St. Barth’s. It’s France transplanted to the Caribbean: long white beaches and impossibly blue waters…croissants, cheeses, and fabulous wine…infinity pools at villas high in the hills and elegant oceanfront hotel rooms…gourmet meals with your feet in the sand…fashion shows and handsome waiters with French accents… Je suis enchante!
Here is my report from lovely St. Barth’s.
Tradewinds Airlines offers private-jet style service from San Juan and St. Martin
Get ready for a thrilling landing! The air strip has a huge hill at one end and a beach at the other.
The view from my suite at Le Guanahani, a full-service resort that welcomes families with two beaches, lots of activities on site, a children’s program, and spacious rooms.
Cheval Blanc Isle de France Resort, part of the luxury brand company, LVMH, has a poolside fashion show every Tuesday night, featuring Pucci and other designs sold only at the hotel.
The Sand Bar at Eden Rock, a Jean-George restaurant. It’s impossible to find mediocre food on this island.
Consider staying in a villa, enjoying incredible views, and explore St. Barth’s many beaches.
The pool by the sea, at Hotel Christopher.
Dessert at Mango, the seafront restaurant at Hotel Christopher
What awaits my VIP clients (and you all are!) upon arrival at Cheval Blanc.
Anse des Flamands, one of the island’s best beaches. All beaches are public and many hotels generously offer their facilities for the afternoon to their visiting lunch guests when available.
